ERJ 145 is a new generation of turbofan regional jet with integrated avionics. The first flight of ERJ145 was on August11 of1995. It possessed the Airworthiness Certificate issued by USA. Its first delivery to the Continental Express was on December19 of 1996.
    The first order from Grand China Co. Ltd has become the 1000th delivery of the Embraer ERJ145. The ERJ145 turbofan jet was produced by Harbin Embraer Aircraft Industry Company Ltd, a joint venture between Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer and Harbin Aviation Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. and Hafei Aviation Industry Co., Ltd, subsidiaries of AVIC II.
    Hainan Airlines currently operates two 50-seats ERJ145 aircrafts.
